Punjab Red Cross sends relief material worth over Rs 10 lakh in first consignment; additional assistance worth Rs 80 lakh to Rs 1 crore to be provided as per Nepal’s requirements Chandigarh, September 1: Extending humanitarian assistance to the people affected by the devastating flash floods in Nepal, the Punjab Red Cross today dispatched three trucks carrying relief material for the Nepal Red Cross. The Governor of Punjab and President of the Punjab Red Cross, Shri Gulab Chand Kataria, flagged off the trucks from Punjab Lok Bhavan, Chandigarh.
